It would be interesting to hear the accounts of the RED HATTERS, the technical evaluation group that flight tested and analyzed foreign aircraft (whereas the RED EAGLES looked at tactics of the MiGs). Here is an evaluation video from the USAF on the MiG-21 and a Red Hat patch.
