From general reading, things like Thud Ridge etc, LORAN worked well enough through there.

Scott, there are indications that LORAN systems performed not too well in SEA. An example could be the obsolete ARN-70.
Similarly, the ARN-85 from Thuds was prone to failures and did not allow precise weapon delivery.

I'd expect it to be the same as an OH6.

Hmm, too many variations of this bird. Older com/nav stuff was bulky and heavy, and many required 115VAC 3-phase power.

The picture posted in https://www.secretprojects.co.uk/threads/cia-air-america-quiet-one-helicopter.9162/post-639710 clearly shows a pale control unit above the FLIR control, perhaps sporting the "INS NAV" inscription. Very unusual for the early OH-6.
