BAE/ HAL Advanced Hawk

It looks like BAE Systems and HAL are looking at an advanced Hawk with a new wing featuring leading-edge slats.
BAE's demonstrator looks likely to be fitted with the new wing but they seem coy about actually flying it, presumably having complete confidence in their computer simulations?
