He has a very poor reputation for accuracy. At best his videos are just a regurgitation of what is easily available online. At worst they contain abject falsehoods (e.g., claiming the Navy lied about the Thresher, bizarrely suggesting that PWRs have a secondary loop full of seawater, claiming to publish the lofargram of a Russian SSBN, etc.). He was a sonarman, but even his sonar videos contained numerous errors.
