ARDC TP-900 three-turbine helicopter project

Hi,

the ARDC (Aeronautical Research & Development Corporation) had acquired Brantly Helicopter Corporation division from Lear Jet Industries in 1969,it also
developed the RP-440 flying-crane helicopter from Omega BS-12,the TP-900
was a three turbine helicopter developed from RP-440 and Omega BS-17 to
accommodate 14 passenger in detachable pod,also the project uses included
the carriage of freight,refrigerated cargo and pre-sorted mail.

Hi,

here is anther helicopter actually built and developed from Omega BS-12,it was a twin
engined multi-purpose helicopter,called RP-440 and made by the same company,ARDC.

Four BS-12 helicopters were built, if I'm not mistaken.

• the BS-12 Twin [N267B]
• the BS-12B [N290B]
• the first BS-12D-1 [N285B]
• the second BS-12D-1 [N286B], which became the BS-12D-3 and was also called the RP-440.
