Nice! But the tail unit seems ridiculously small to me... any experts on aeronautics around here who could tell us more on this?
 
Most of the mass is up front and it has a long tail boom. The tail doesn't need to be huge.

The exhaust right on the CG is a good indication of that. It looks like the intakes are split into two separate parts. I wonder why...
 
The profile of the fuselage looks similar to the Bertin 8 D.V.1 design
and at the extreme tail, puffer jets seem to be visible. Would they
be needed for STOL, or maybe its a VTOL/VSTOL design ?

Call me crazy, but I think I see two nozzles stacked vertically per side on the patent side view. You can also see that the intake is split into two sections. At first i thought it was just a structural support, but now i think they might be there to separate the flow going to two different engines. I cannot provide an explanation... ???
 
Could it be something like the top nozzles remaining straight for horizontal flight, and the bottom nozzles rotating downwards for STOL capability?
