The 21cm Maikäfer Flakrakete 42 program stemmed from a Hitler directive in August 1943 to develop an anti-bomber Flak weapon based on the existing 21cm Nebelwerfer artillery rocket according to Gen.der Flak a.D. von Renz’s “Development of German Anti-aircraft Weapons and Equipment of All Types...
Similar to the post-BoB RAF: what might've Luftwafe/RLM do after Autumn of 1940 in order to improve their standing, both in short-term (next 12 months) and long-term (a few next years). I've also included 'Axis' term here - mostly European Axis countries' air forces/services - since they can be...

When the Germans realised they needed self-propelled artillery (as opposed to Assault guns) to keep up with the Panzers, their initial efforts involved conversions of various captured vehicles to carry artillery along with the creation of three interim conversions based on tanks already in...
I'm not entirely sure if this would go here since it's a building project rather than a land vehicle, but I thought It was the best place to ask...
According to the Wikipedia article on flak towers:
Is anyone here knowledgeable on these proposals? Were official plans ever drawn up for them...
I'm putting this here under the thin justification that some of the cars were to be defensively armed, there were plans to transport small warships with it, and it could fill a logistics role similar to the Reichsautobahnen. However, I really just wanted a thread somewhere to discuss this.
Some...

Not being much of a German aircraft specialist, I find myself stuck trying to identify this strange little pusher bird... It may well be a Focke-Wulf project, but that's my only clue.
I'm sure someone will be able to identify it soon and put me to shame! Thanks in advance for your help.

Any pics of the Hu211?
Are the wings typical Hutter with a very wide span?
I might just try a profile having been prompted by Carlos. :)

I have a very poor microfilm blueprint scan of the Blohm und Voss P.173.02 long range bomber.
From what I can make out it is a six engined bomber that shares the wings and tail of the BV 238 seaplane.
Does anyone have any good drawings or information on this project?
I'll try to make as clean...
