Regulations nearly as bad as California (and worse in some cases), many politicians that want nothing to do with anything military... There's a huge list. Hell, they offered support when Olympia, Washington refused the Namesake Visit from the US Navy and crew of USS Olympia the submarine.

Which is ironic, because basically everyone outside Portland-Eugene area is more reasonable.
