News is from March 2023 but I think it’s worth posting:
The reusable Korona rocket will be able to launch cargo into orbit and return it back
Its main advantages are, in particular, the low cost of launching the payload due to the complete reusability of the system, as well as the high launch rate, the press service of Roscosmos noted.
MOSCOW, March 28. /TASS/. The reusable single-stage carrier rocket Korona will be able not only to launch cargo, but also to return it to Earth, and also be used to refuel and repair objects in orbit. This was reported to journalists on Tuesday by the press service of Roscosmos.
They specified that on March 28, a meeting on research and development work to confirm key technologies of the project was held at the Academician V. P. Makeyev State Rocket Center (Makeyev State Rocket Center, part of Roscosmos), in which the executive director of the state corporation for advanced programs and science, Alexander Bloshchenko, took part. The meeting presented reports on key design solutions, the design appearance of the main parts of the rocket, and the planned work to confirm the technologies for their creation on mock-ups and models.
"The main advantages of the Korona launch vehicle being developed are the low cost of launching the payload due to the complete reusability of the system, high launch rates, the ability not only to launch but also to return cargo from orbit with a mass commensurate with the launch mass, as well as to refuel and repair objects in orbit," they noted there.
In February, Vladimir Degtyar, CEO of the Makeyev State Rocket Center, announced during the Demidov Readings held at the Ural Federal University that the company would begin research and development work on the creation of the Korona this year. According to him, the rocket will have an extremely low cost of launching a payload into orbit, and its use will be up to 100 times.
