HMS Belfast to be reactivated for patrol work
HMS Belfast, a Second World War cruiser turned museum ship, is to be reactivated this month and renamed after the current Prime Minister. The vessel will patrol the English Channel as part of efforts to increase Britain's global image.

Personally, I would have thought it would be HMS Farage.

New Frigate to temporarily assume ferry duties for Scottish islands
HMS Glasgow, currently being built on the Clyde, is to be used to ferry passengers between Scottish islands after a request from the Scottish Government due to delays with the ferries being built at Port Glasgow.


Scotland loses out to Ruritania on UK shipbuilding contracts
It has emerged this morning that work promised to Scotland will instead go to Ruritania after Zenda Industries won a contract to build frigates.
