From Kryl'ya Rodine 1/2-2020,

here is a two amazing assault glider Projects,used as composite aircraft to carry a fighter,designed
by Mr. I. M. Zharnylsky.

Looking at this, I wonder if instead of the gliders carrying a fighter, it was more a case of the fighter providing the motive power to move the gliders, in a similar fashion to the P-38/Hamilcar and Bf-109/DFS230 combos.
