(First of all, my apologies if this project has been discussed before)
I was browsing through my defence magazine archives and found an article about the following project in a Turkish defence magazine, "Savunma ve Havacilik" (Defence and Aerospace) from 1997.
The project is titled as "Yarrow Warship", a stealthy frigate design from GEC Marine Yarrow Shipbuilders. The mock-up was displayed at IDEX 97 fair at Abu Dhabi in 1997.
Specs are as follows:
Length: 103.7m
Breadth: 95m
Beam: 12.6m
Displacement: 2,000t
Propulsion: CODLAG
Armament: 2 x medium calibre guns, 2 x CIWS, 4 x torpedo launcher, 1 x bow sonar plus ATAS equipment, 32 x VLS for SAM, 2 x decoy launchers
