While not a "Secret Projects" book, I though it would be worthwhile for me to mention that I discovered that another Eric Brown classic is being re-issued by Crecy in their Hikoki line. There is no indication as to whether this edition will have added content like the other Eric Brown books that Crecy/Hikoki have issued previously.

It is being listed for 31 July release on Amazon.uk; no mention of this edition yet on Amazon.com. The last edition of this book appears to date from 1987.

If the cover is an indication, it should have added content since the original edition covered only WW2 aircraft (F4F, F6F, F4U, Vought Chesapeake, SB2C, SBD, Avenger, Swordfish, Albacore, Fulmar, Firefly, Seafire, Sea Hurricane, Barracuda, Firebrand, Skua if my memory is correct).

Could someone list what types are covered in the revised edition of his Wings of the Luftwaffe? The original edition covered Ar 234, Do217, Do 335, FW 189, FW 190, FW 200, He 111, He 162, He 177, He 219, Ju 52, Ju 87, Ju 88, Bf 109, Bf 110, Me 163, Me 262. So what more in the new edition?

Thanks! Quite interesting to note that 7 of the aircraft covered were originally covered in Testing for Combat while 8 more were in Wings of the Weird & Wonderful. Considering that Brown flew many more aircraft, I wonder why he has not been asked to write additional chapters on them. German aircraft are quite well covered, but many significant Russian, Japanese and US aircraft he flew are not covered in any of his books except perhaps briefly in Duels in the Sky.
