White Sands Missile park

I had the opportunity to visit the WSMR missilempark today and noticed that two missiles, the Aerobee Hi and the Mace, had come crashing down at some point relatively recently. The Aerobee was pretty crunched; one stage seems to have crumpled. The Mace seemed more intact, but the nose was resting on the ground, which is clearly not what was intended. Anyone know what happened?

Edit: I found a solicitation from 2011 to repair the Aerobee before it came crashing down. Evidently that didn't happen in time.
