The French DC-3? French though I may be, I really think some guys are not afraid of ridicule... How can one even remotely compare these two aircraft? The DC-3 had a international career and a lasting career spanning several decades. What was really the sphere of influence of the Bloch 220? I can't even think of a post-war design that could be even slightly derived from it or influenced by it.

Just started to read it; Vogt's qualifications as a designer are diametrically opposed to his writing abilities, that's for sure.
