What type of jet is this in GE promo film?

It looks like an extremely stylized version of an F-86/early swept wing jet.

Edit: specifically, it has a low wing, the tail config is a match and the inlet is also very reminiscent of the F-86. Compare that to e.g. the F-84F, which looks pretty similar to the sabres, but actually has a mid wing, the tail is mounted slightly higher and it lacks the "nose" above the inlet. The only thing weird thing in your picture is the cockpit.

Edit2: most Sabres use the GE J47 engine.

That graphic is only a stylized, generic depiction of an second-generation jet fighter.
That tall cockpit canopy reminds us of the US Navy's Fj-2/-3 Fury carrier-capable jet fighter variant of the North American F-86 Sabre.

"tall" canopy? I think I am missing something, because I have never seen a flatter cockpit.
