One minor point, the S-61L airliner was not amphibious, it had a fixed landing gear without floats

and the bottom of the forward fuselage on the port side was flat, it was the luggage compartment.

The S-61N was amphibious with large floats and boat hull.

Many of the S-61s, civil and ex-military, converted for logging and crane use are fitted with L-type

landing gear as there is no need for amphibious capability and it weighs less.
