Was Igor Sikorsky involved in the development of SH-3 Sea King?

Was there speculation that Igor Sikorsky might be involved in the Sea King helicopter as a project manager? I know only that he had contributed to the civilian version known as the S61 but not sure if he worked in the SH-3 project team?

It seems to me that the S-61 was designed as a military type first (YHSS-2 ASW helicopter), and that the civilian version came later, but I could be wrong. I don't have the precise dates here with me.
