In a patent dated October 20, 1914, entitled Fallgeschoß für Luftfahrzeuge, Walther Lentz presents a type of projectile, an aerial torpedo dropped from airships by means of an ejection device on a descending trajectory. The aerial torpedo has a simple shape, with two slender wings attached to the front part of the explosive projectile and fitted with a detonator and two lateral and vertical damping surfaces attached to the rear part, or takes the form of an aerial torpedo with adjustable wings prior to firing.

"an aerial torpedo dropped from airships by means of an ejection device on a descending trajectory." When I read this I remembered a similar story which said that Krupps bought Unge's patents to develop such a weapon which was to be installed on zeppelins during WWW1 and it was used against the French but apparently there is no report attesting to it either on the German or French side.
