A slightly different bit of artwork for the TF-120 similar to what Paul posted way back in the beginning.

Enjoy the Day! Mark

Wow, a FSW version? That is pretty forward thinking, but overly ambitious. The wing probably would've been very thin (like the X-29's), which would make the addition of decently sized integral fuel tanks and ordinance capacity an issue. Yes, such a mission profile is beyond what was intended, but on a practical level, a proper fighter, VSTOL or not should have decent air-to-air capacity: 2x AIM-9s, 4x AIM-4s (or AMRAAMs for modern times). The other thing I wonder about is the aircraft CG. I don't think the plane could've gotten away with the lift fan so far back.

Greetings All -

Another bundle of good stuff from the Vought Archives. Had not seen the TF130 and TF140 designs before.

Enjoy the Day! Mark

The Tf200 reminds me a lot of the fictional Asf-X Shinden 2 from Ace Combat. Right down to control surfaces even folding around!
