Good Day All -

A couple of drawings for what appears to be a look at the General Aviation market. The first drawing has many design cues of the Mitsubishi Mu-2 though the horizontal stabilizer is clear different (at least to my eyes).

Enjoy the Day! Mark

Awesome Mark!
The top one looks like a Mitsubishi MU-2. It even appears to have spoiler similar to the MU-2. Fortunately for Vought they didn't build the MU-2's for the US. Mooney, who was building components of the MU-2 for Japan's Mitsubishi fell in to financial problems in 1969. I wonder if Vought considered buying them out and continuing the MU-2 production lines at Vought.

The bottom one looks like a Piper Navajo with possibly dihedral wingtips.

The second design's wingtips remind me of the mods applied to the Beech 18 later in life.

Enjoy the Day! Mark

Awesome stuff indeed, Mark! Keep up the great work.

Second one looks like Beagle B.206 Series 3.

Beagle went bust in 1969. Maybe Vought were looking to buy the design?

Excellent match up Harrier - well done! That would make some sense - why start from scratch when a certified design may be available.

Thanks! Mark
