I know that these subjects have been done to death but I am still trying to get my head around the relationship between the two areas.
A VG derivative of TSR2 would have made sense if the programme had worked out as originally planned, with aircraft in service by 1970 and a satisfactory RAF budget (huge ifs I know, but I want to focus on the VG stuff).
Was the Vickers 581 intended to replace the TSR2 much as the Tornado replaced the Buccaneer and co in real life, or was a TSR2 variant more likely?
Finally, there are so many different takes on what a VG TSR2 design would have looked like, was there ever a likely definitive scheme?
