"The Kocherigin OPB-5 is one of the least known soviet aircraft to be built, but it had great potential. I first found it in Shavrov's book of soviet aircraft from 1938-1950. It was built as a high speed ground attack and dive bomber aircraft also capable of being a fighter. It had an internal bombay capable of holding 500kg of bombs and could be armed with 4 rocket projectiles. Gun armament was 2 syncronized 7,62mm ShKAS MGs firing at 1500 rpm and 2 wing mounted 12,7mm UBK MGs firing at 1000rpm. There were plans of mounting 2 wing mounted 23mm VYa cannons firing at 600rpm. The engine was a 1425hp M90 radial but there were also plans of mounting the M82FN and AM37 engines. Speed was 600km/h at altitude and 504km/h at sea level. The aircraft flew in 1941 and showed favourable performance, but there were some large delays for production. However Kocherigin's design bureau terminated in 1942 and further development was stopped."

Hi! LBSh.(Sh)(Кочеригин ЛБШ) I feel following pictures and drawing shows little different shape from borovik-san's chart. :-[
http://live.warthunder.com/post/541826/en/
http://worldofwarplanes.ru/warplanes/history/air-technics/16-lbsh-soviet-attack-aircraft/

"LBSh
During the mid 1930s, Kochyerigin developed a monoplane dive-bomber to replace the Polikarpov R-5. The new R-9 however was rejected and the Soviet designer now had to look for a a way to make the design worth the effort he had put into it. He ultimately decided to develop the R-9 into a heavily armed two-seat attacker. Official specifications called for a fast recon/attack aircraft able to reach ~500km/h at altitude. It was to be able to carry 400kg of bombs and be armed by either two 20mm ShVAK as well as two 7.62mm ShKAS or four ShKAS.
The new LBSh (initially known simply as Sh for shturmovik = attacker) was a monoplane of mixed construction with fixed, spatted undercarriage and conventional tail. The cannon were mounted in the wingroots (The LBSh was one of the first aircraft with this configuration) and the MGs were located further outwards.
The first prototype made its maiden flight in July 1939, powered by a M-88 radial. This engine however had reliability issues resulting in the second prototype being fitted by a M-87A. The 87 was less powerful than the troublesome M-88 which resulted in the LBSh being underpowered."

IT (Re: Various Kocherigin projects)

My source was an online translation of a Russian magazine article, title since forgotten.

According to my notes, the IT was a 1940 project for a multirole aircraft intended for attack, antitank, and heavy fighter duties. Top speed was supposed to be 680-700 km/h--hence the retractable canopy (and pilot's seat) and ventral gun position.

Armament included a flexible 7.62 mm machine ShKAS rapid-fire machine gun in the navigator's position in the nose, four fixed 20-mm ShVAK cannon in the fuselage sides, and a bomb-bay package holding either two 37-mm or 45 mm cannon. Single, flexible ShKAS guns were to be at the rear of the canopy and in the ventral position.

Engines: 2 M-90 or AM-37
Top speed: 510 or 580 km/h at sea level, 624 or 690 km/h at 5700 m
Climb to 5000 m: 5 or 6 min
Ceiling: 10000 or 11000 m
Range: 1500 or 1700 km
Takeoff run: 430 or 460 m
Wing area, 34.785 sq-m
Takeoff weight, 7000 kg
Empty weight, kg 5200 kg

OBSh M-81 (Re: Various Kocherigin projects)

I have no info on this beyond the pictures (source unknown). It is turbocharged, so I assume that it is a high-altitude interceptor.
