Do 435 was a long span version for which the Do 335 V4 served as a prototype. A number of variants were proposed on 12 September 1944 according to original German sources.


A-1 and A-2: Bombers.

B-1 to B-3: Night/Bad Weather fighter

C-1 and C-2: Reconnaissance

D-1 and D-2: Führungsflugzeug


All variants with DB603L engines.


According to British Intelligence document:


It was a modified Do 335 version intended as a night fighter. Crew of two seated syde-by-side in pressurized cockpit. Radar equipment. Long-span wooden panels. Jumo 222 engines.
