Good for them for learning from past mistakes.This is going to be a controversial opinion, but; had the requirements for the JSF been defined better/ they didn't try to fit clashing needs of each service into a single aircraft, a Strike Eagle-esque F-35 with relaxed requirements could've been the NGAD they desperately need right now.Yes, at the end the jet turned out to be pretty good for what it is, but the program itself is such a shameful waste of taxpayer money...
