USAF Dyna Soar & MOL ?

Hello, new to the forum here .... Have always been interested some of the speculative aerospace programs from the cold war era ... A question I find myself frequently trying to find an answer to is would the Dyna Soar & Gemini Mol have become Strategic Air Command assets ? And what type of basing would have been in place ? Vandenberg basing ?

Has there ever been anything wrote on this ?

MOL would have been a NRO asset.


Basing? There is no other feasible one.

On MOL that was NRO asset, in hand of USAF and "basing" was in Vandenberg AFB in near of Douglas Aircraft Company who build the Hardware.

on Dyna Soar there to many open question
it start Orbital bomber/reconnaissance plane proposal and end as X-20 research glider
if had program go on from begin as Orbital bomber/reconnaissance plane "Strike Reconnaissance-80 ?"
it had be shared NRO and SAC asset (if Curtis LeMay had accepted this Rocket Bomber concept)
"basing" had to be Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida. (south of NASA Kennedy space center)
