US military programs: Acronyms

As you all know, it is common practice (and notably in the US military) to designate procurement programs by an acronym (a combination of each word's initial letter). Usually they are just that, sometimes they are created to sound like a proper word so people can memorize them (presumably the deciders).

I'm creating this topic to inventory, not only these acronyms, but also the various submissions for each of them, when they are known.
