What would the nature of USAF photo-reconnaissance aircraft development during the early Cold War have been like if the US Army Air Force in 1944 had passed on the XF-11 and XF-12 in favor of the Boeing Model 413, given that the Model 413 was the first-ever American design study for a purpose-built jet reconnaissance plane and the XF-11 and XF-12 were piston-powered planes and hence were sure to become obsolete thanks to the jet age?
