Yes my dear Lark,

it has a low-wing and twin tail fin,and horse powered for the engine is more than 2000 hp.

As someone who spent a great deal of time researching Pemberton-Billing a few years ago, I'm greatly surprised, not just that this previously unknown project has surfaced, but that it carried such a high number. Last PB project I knew of was 49, so bearing in mind that Mr. P.-B. only used odd numbers for his designs, it means that PB.51, PB.53, PB.55, PB.57 and PB.59 have also existed and we know nothing about them!!

In "The Aeroplane of the Future" P-B refers to the PB53 as a 'high speed bomber' and the PB55 is mentioned, without a description, in a section about shaft drives, reversable drives and contra-props. The book is available, or at least was, for free download somewhere, but I cannot recall where.
