My first thought would be hobbyist model. Maybe the Colonel designed his own aircraft and decided to build it in his off time.There are too many things that seem off about the design. The intake is awfully small and the style doesnt fit the era of wedge airfoils imho. The wing is also placed very far forward even if the missing nose if accounted for - just how long is the exhaust duct for the engine then? ect, ect.
