Can anyone ID this French flying boat from the 1930s? It is a wind tunnel model from this site: http://www.maquettes-de-soufflerie.com/maquette_de_soufflerie_Hydravion.html
Thanks for the ID. I did some searching and you are the only source that knows this airplane as the Potez 52. Please share anything else you know about the airplane or if you know of a drawing of it somewhere. There is one book that might have something: "Les Avions Potez". Unfortunately, it is very expensive if you can find one at all.
Now there are 2 known models of the Potez 52 and some data. I have re-titled this thread to reflect the new knowledge.
Interesting that in the thread where you were trying to identify the same wind tunnel model as I was, it still remained unknown and another airplane was revealed.
Swallow, what is the source of your knowledge about the Potez 52? If we offer you immunity, will you reveal all you know about your relationship with "Potez 52"
This must be a very rare design since it is not mentioned
in the very extensive Potez type list produced by L'Aviation
magazine of April 1961.
(Du SEA-1 au P-840 . Cinquante ans de vie du pionnier Henri Potez-Aviation Special numéro 320)
The Potez 52 is also not identified in the "Potez Designations" thread in Designation Systems: http://www.secretprojects.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,9749.msg122493.html#msg122493
This may be the center of the Potez 52 universe. Share what you know and have and help it expand.
