Unbuilt White Star 1000" liner

I'm searching information about an often mentioned but supported by frustrately few information project of a very large pre WW1 White Star's liner supposed to be a replacement for Titanic. I've seen reference to a length of about 1000 foot and a tonnage of 60000 grt, sometimes the name Ceric is associated to this proposal.

She was assigned the Harland and Wolff Yard No. 391, but it is unclear if any metal was ever cut or machinery ordered, much less her keel being laid down. At lot of confusion has been caused by the fact that that yard number was later reassigned, first to the unbuilt Europa, then to the Red Star Line's Belgenland (initially named Belgic when she was intended as a late war troopship / freighter).

Could this be confused with an unbuilt white Star Project after WWI that was to have rivaled the normandie and queen mary before White Star merged with Cunard?

No, we are talking about a different, pre-WW1 project. The Normandie rival was the Oceanic III, whose specifications are still quite a mistery on their own (there are different accounts about her size, speed and power plant configuration, oscillating between a 50k ton, 26 knots turboelectric liner and a 80k ton, 30-plus knots, diesel-electric giant) but at least we know it was a real project while we don't know how serious was proposal for the so called Ceric or even if a proposal ever existed

No. That's a post-WW1 ship. The ship they are asking about is from sometime around 1913-14. And the same yard number seems to have been assigned to several different potential ships, only one of which (Belgenland/Belgic) was actually built.
