Ukrainian Air Force F-16

VKS undoubtedly has a huge range advantage, and I cannot see the ZSU being able to alter that. The F-16s probably are by far the best A2A equipment they have operated, but coming in distant second place is still dead, even if it’s a huge improvement over MiG-29.
During spring 2022, with VKS operating well over Ukraine, F-16 could've mattered.

Will they matter if Russia will intensify again in 2025?
Frankly, difficult to say. I personally consider the new gen SAM network (especially the relatively low key NASAMS) far more important for that case.

Though unlikely, doesn't seem VKS is any more enthusiastic about DEAD than in 2021.

How exactly is Oryx biased? They only count destroyed vehicles with photo/video proof with metadata on both sides, which means significantly undercounting losses.

Bias ORYX is intellectually dishonest and childish as they have been making fun of Russians on Twitter, bias because they are linked with Belincats which is link to former CIA employees, bias because their page read “attack on Europe” bias because they refuse to post hundreds of Ukrainian losses but also post hundreds of questionable “Russian losses”. There are many people including myself that found bias discrepancies in the hundreds of entries. Here are some examples. The people at ORYX truly have room temperature IQ.

“Russian tank” which is literally just en empty field:

“Russian tank”, again an empty field:

“Russian tank” empty field again, this time with a little smoke from an RPG fired into empty woods:

6 Ukrainian MiG-29s destroyed with clear as day video…not counted. ORYX supporters may claim they were not air worthy but they also have no evidence and regardless even if they were they would still either be used for spares or eventually made air worthy. We know if 6 Russian aircraft were destroyed even if they were not air worthy ORYX would count it with zero reservations.

Counting Russian MiG-31 that ran off a runway in a none combat related accident as destroyed. Should we count NATO aircraft accidents that occurred during the Gulf War period as lost in combat during Desert Storm even if they ran of runways?

Damaged HIMARS with extensive shrapnel damage with Ukrainian marking being unloaded in the United States for repairs ….not counted. Ironically enough there was second HIMARS also damaged unloaded from the same aircraft that ORYX did count so ORYX is well aware of this HIMARS they just choose to not count it.

Then there are double posts and hundreds of entries of destroyed or damaged equipment of unconfirmed origin that ORYX simply counts as Russian. Lost Armor and Russian source can’t identify the origins of hundreds of pieces of military hardware or who it belongs to…ORYX doesn’t have this problem and just labels it as Russian. Typical considering they are pro Ukrainian and despise Russia.
