As a 9 year old I was fortunate enough to be given a Marx Toy TSR2 for my Birthday.
Unfortunately I could never persuade my Dad to buy the matching Bristol 188 for Christmas,
but I did get one years later at a Toy Fair
Today in the market in Oxford I weakened and bought a Marx Rocket Plane Launcher.
I never had this toy as a kid, though I think I had the older Nike Ajax like version.
I do have somewhere at home an Eastern European copy I bought in Warsaw in 1991.
Why did I buy the Marx toy after all these years, well I know its childish, but it rather
reminded me of this

The RAF would have been getting them about the time Marx made their toy.
Harmless fun, but the men in white coats are here,so I will wish you all well
