David Lister's excellent The Dark Age of Tanks 1945 to 1970 contains a lot of new information and images on postwar fighting vehicle projects from original sources.
The attached drawing from the book of a design for a 105mm sp gun relates to a project featured in model form in the old AFV profile on the CVR(T) family. I think someone may have posted a pic on this site but could not find it.

The chapter in David Lister's book is very comprehensive but it is good to have these images as well.
 
Better though out than the 105 mm howitzer trialed on the Canadian Bobcat APC chassis. They only built one prototype SP gun with an American 105 mm howitzer. Without recoilspades, it landed in a different grid square every time it was fired!
