Good news about the rover being in good condition after the landing, would liked to have seen a first picture though. I suppose that they may release one tomorrow perhaps.

It’s more to do with the orbiter getting into its new orbit which takes time. It will also be using ESA’s Mars Express as a relay.

It is strange how the Chinese are using Mars Express as a relay satellite instead of using one of their own design in orbit around Mars first before they launched the lander.
