The Source Book of World War II Aircraft; A Complete Directory and Bibliography. John M.G. Emery (1976)
This is an interesting little book – it si not a recent publication,) no pictures, one brief sentence description of each plane but one many of you will find very useful. It listed all known WW2 aircraft even those that did not fly with every known reference (book or magazine) in most languages that has information on each aircraft listed. It is extremely difficult to find a copy – the only one I have found is in a government technical library but may be available if hunted.
This is a researcher’s book not a reading book – I love it!
For reference ISNB: 0-7137-1722X
