It's a nice little book with plenty of quality photos and brief design and operational histories. There were no illustrations of concepts leading up to the EH101 which was a disappointment but I was left wanting to know more so hopefully a 2nd edition will go into more detail!

I leafed through this book in Foyles and was
disappointed that there was no detailed account
of the WG 34 and similar Italian projects which led to
101.
Hoping that Chris Gibson comes to the rescue.

I had a flick through this book. As an account of the Merlin and its users its a handy book, I must admit I was surprised there wasn't more on the background and development.
In any case its good to see more books on helicopters getting published.

uk 75,
I will be covering the genesis of the EH101 from its earliest British origins in my forthcoming ProjectTech Profile The Admiralty and the Helicopter.

Awaited eagerly to join your other
works!

Yes, it's not a bad book but it does suffer from a lack of background and development history and is just a bit too brief in general.
