Developed during the 1950s by the SNCASE with a SEPR rocket engine, the air-to-surface missile B.B.10 was radio-commanded, it was designed for the S.O.4050 Vautour IIB . In its development and tests, some components of earlier German and American missiles were used.It was equipped with a television camera on the nose which was part of its guidance system. The remote control system was done by radio and allowed only two different positions. Control was provided by four mobile fins on the nose and four fixed fins on the tail, surrounded by a circular fin.The program was cancelled in 1957.Its explosive charge weighed about 200 kg. length, about 3.35 m.; its wingspan (measured on the aft fins), 0.813 m and a range of about 10 km at a maximum speed of 1370 km/hr.
