Born from a post-war program in 1946, aimed at the creation of surface-to-air missiles, the Bréguet (Br 920) was radio-guided (Turck and ECA systems) and equipped with an oxidizer and fuel rocket engine liquids. His tests began from 1948 to 1949 with 1/16 scale models without a guidance system and equipped with powder thrusters to validate his cruciform and trapezoidal wing configuration. He was to be launched by a catapult 5 meters long. 20 full-size missiles were planned but it seems never realized because the program was abandoned in 1950. It was the only missile of the Bréguet company in the field of missile design.
