Tanks with hydraulic steering/transmission

Has there been any tank/heavy tracked combat vehicle either in service or at least on trial stage with a fully hydraulic steering/transmission (=engine drives a hydraulic pump that it turn supplies hydraulic drive motors and the entire speed and steering is achieved through varying the speed and torque of the drive motors).
