Swedish K1 Corvette

Discussion about German corvettes seems to have been popular lately so I'm sharing this Swedish project which I found in Jane's 1972-73.

The design was to be a flotilla leader for MTBs or FACs as well as escorts for the remaining destroyer fleet that was then still active. Two were to be built, with pennants K1 and K2.
The design would be 700-1,000 tons displacement with gas turbines, 1x 57mm and 1x 40mm Bofors as well as a 120mm Bofors A/S mortar.
Interestingly the image shows a light Jet Ranger HKP6B helicopter which were delivered during 1970-71. It seems likely the K1-class was meant to be a control ship for HKP6B ASW operations (they could carry 4x depth charges).
The project seems to have been abandoned shortly afterwards.

As far as I know there was no K1 pennant in the Swedish Navy, the Stockholm-class corvettes of the Ytattack-81 (Surface combatant-81) programme a decade later being K11 and K12.

still mentioned in 1975-1976 edition, in 1976-1977 mentioned 3 projected flotilla leaders RO 1-3 700 tons displacement 246.0 x 26.2 x 8.0 feet or 80.6 x 8.6 x 2.6 metres, 2 SSM and 2-57mm forward, 1 single barrelled depth charge mortar forward, gas turbines for power, diesels for cruising=35 knots crew 70 men, same details as the K1-2 although the displacement of the K1-2 could become 800-1000 tons (Jane's 1974-1975)

The K1 name suffix also appears in kanonboot design of much smaller size. Here is also couple of more drawings of the larger corvette type, and as bonus insert, a even larger fregat type, of which Ive not managed to found anything else.
