It almost looks like a caricature of a WIG.
What are those nacelles above and between the fuselages?

They do seem rather odd.

Perhaps boost jet engines to get the aircraft up off the water and the turbo-prop is for cruise? Several of the Beriev designs utilise that method.

Its a model. Not even a very detailed one. Who knows, perhaps they have doors which open for streamlining. :
