Dear Boys and Girls, here is an extensive article in French about the original Sud Aviation SE.3200 Frelon helicopter prototypes which had been started as a SNCASE design……

The article comes from the 6th June 1959 issue of Les Ailes......

The picture comes from the 20th June 1959 issue of Les Ailes......

Hi Toura,
thank you for the very interesting info/photos and I learned a lot about the SE-3200 I did not know!
I noted that 002 seems to have a modified and much longer rear fuselage/tail boom section than 001 and also sports endplates on the horizontal tail. Did 001 also feature the hinging rear fuselage for loading/unloading, or was this only on 002?

I suppose only the n° 02 could be cargo. Not sure !
Look at the two drawing below only the n°02 has this apparent opening
and this is certainely for trials....The sa 3210 has only rear ramp.
