Hi,

Mr. Stanko Bloudek was a Yugoslavian,and he designer his first aircraft B.I Galeb,
it was a glider in 1910,followed by a B.II,it was a light biplane aircraft of 1911,and
built a Taube single seat monoplane (B.III),the B.IV was a fighter of WWI.

From B.V to B.XIII are not known for me,but B.XIV was a single seat sporting
high-wing monoplane,proceeded by a B.XV,which was a two-seat low-wing
sporting and light monoplane.

Hi,

very strange Info,Mr. S. Bloudek associated with Mr. J. Cermak to built two light
monoplanes in 1913 ?.

"Memories from Pilsen.
In the mid-October of 1910 came to Pilsen members of Czech aviatic association Jaroslav Potůček, ing. Stanko Bloudek and Jan Čermák. They brought with them the Racek (Seagull) airplane. At the time the city moved the association's hangar from Malešice to Bory neighbourhood.
Potůček, Bloudek and Čermák with the help of ing. Martin Frič and V.V. Vyšin erected their dismantled plane in the yard of the Tivoli restaurant and covered it with linen. In October 19th, Potůček made first ground riding tests. After that he became sick of it and returned to Prague. In the last days of October, Čermák made some short hoops with the machine. Tests contunued trough november. 26th November Čermák flew 200 m, 6. December even 1 km.
In February 1911 Čermák and Bludek left Pilsen and took their engine with them. Airplane stayed in Pilsen until summer of 1912, when it was transported to Prague by František Šimůnek."

This airplane was the idea of Čermák, who at the time was disilusioned with the Aviatic association and left it (so the Memories are wrong) to made his own airplane, together with engineer Potůček and Slovenian student Bloudek. documentation was drawn by Ing. Fiala at the Viennese Bláha company, manufacturers of baby carrages and later airplanes. Manufactured was in Prague by local woodworking shop. Čermák then left for France where he studied flying and got his brevet d'aviation, or pilot's licence. There he also u bought Bayard et Clément 32 hp engine. Otherwise it went as it was mentioned in the Memories above. Potůček left Pilsen because he tried to take off with the ariplane, but the machine twisted on the uneven terrain and catapulted Potůček out of it, and he definitely lost interrest of flying. Their first flight was slightly involuntary, they were visited by grtoup of officers from Pula naval station, who tried them convince to show the aircraft in the air. they weren't succesfull, but cherchez la femme, their young and beautifull ladyfriends were and Čermák with Bloudek buckled under pressure.

Book I consulted doesn't mention the name Racek. In 1911 Bloudek and Čermák went to the Bláha factory in Vienna, where they made their Libella (Libelula) biplane, using their Bayard engine. This machine was destroyed after the propeller failed during one flight, putting Čermák in hospital for six weeeks. Then he rebuild the machine into Libella II and got his official Austrial pilot's licence. Where was Bloudek at the time I don't know, but afterwards Čermák toured with Libella the southern Slavic provinces of the Empire and Bloudek presumably went with him to his homeland. After that, Bloudek became the chief engineer of the Ungarische Flugzeugwerke AG (UFAG) in Budapest.
