This is not a real AFV, its a mock-up/testing-dummy
STANDCAM was built for the German Army to serve as a standardized testing rig for comparative testing of various AFV camouflage solutions, especially in IR and MMW.
I looks like a hybrid between a Marder and a Boxer. It even has wheels on one side and tracks on the other side to allow testing of both with the same dummy.
Its turret mock-up is very interesting, its gun and ATGM launcher look similar to the Marder turret, but between those its 'sensors' are on an elevating mast similar to the Euromissile ATM turret.
The problem this 'vehicle' was supposed to solve, is that the signatures of military vehicles are a closely guarded secret, so real vehicles are normally not made available for international comparative testing. STANDCAM seems to have found some international acceptance as a standard for research in this area.
It has heating elements to simulate IR-signatures and a motor to simulate vibrations in the running-gear and engine.
