STAL Skuten

Anyone have any info on STAL's jet engine Skuten? Ive looked through the internet and i have only found mentions of it although its designer Curt Nicolin did win some price for designing it. I have found some sources that mentions that there where plans to mount STAL jet engines on the Saab B-18 which would have made it a B-18R and that would most likely have ben the Skuten since its to my knowledge the earliest Jet engine developed by them. Curt Nicolin also worked on the STAL Dovern and STAL Glan.

It's Monday and here you've got some info on the Skuten engine.

It had 8-stage axial compressor, 6 combustion chambers and 1-stage turbine.

Specs:
Lenght: 3475 mm (some sources say 3850 mm)
Diameter: 920 mm
Weight: 780 kg
Pressure ratio: 4:1
Specific fuel consumption: 1.21 kg/kp/h
Max. thrust: 1450 kp @ 8000 rpm

This is amazing. Where did u get this information from? Also i'm really bad at jet engines but how good/bad was the skuten for its time and what other jet engines from the era was comparable to it?

Well, googling brings results. At a Czech website there is a handful of links to info on the early Swedish jet engines http://www.leteckemotory.cz/motory/dovern/.
Quite informative is also the German book "Enzyklopädische Abhandlung über ausgeführte Strahltriebwerke" by Karl Leist. Published in 1963 in West Germany it may be now reviewed and bought at Google Books.
