Specialty Press: out of the business

I have heard through the grapevine that Specialty Press is closing their aerospace publishing doors for good. Can anyone confirm?

Sadly, yes. I was notified recently that they were terminating their business and returning publishing rights to their authors. End of an era.

I received a letter with the same information and an offer to buy remaining stock of my book at a discounted rate.

Sad - they published some great books and were distributors for many more.

Hopefully any forthcoming projects can find new homes.
