Thought this should go under ‘Theoretical and Speculative’ because I think the attached images are artist’s impressions or concept drawings, rather than deriving from an actual design. Anyway, making the best use I can of Google Translate, I think the attached originally come from ‘Technique-youth’ (or “Technology of Youth”) No. 8, 1938, but see article ‘Fighter-Ram’ here:

I think it resembles the Bugatti 100 racer more than just a bit. With some parts locations swapped, however.

The author of that "invention" tries to sell this ram fighter as a kind of ultimate wonder weapon
against the bomber, during a time, when the bomber still hadn't shown his full destructive power.
Nowadays, we probably would call such a drawing "fanart" .

from the other thread ; and as the resident nutter ı should readily say the bomber scare of 1930s was far greater than the 40s when it was demonstrated that they could be shot down , you know in their dozens , if not hundreds . And yeah , we have volume to retract into during crash/crush phase , right ?
