More on the SFAN 5 from FLIGHT, November 19, 1936, p.556:
The Société Française d'Aviation Nouvelle exhibit a new type, the S.F.A.N. 5. This is a side-by-side two-seater, with the cockpit shielded by a large wide windscreen which sweeps up to the wing. Owing to the fact that the stub which carries the wing is ''hollow ground" and the fuselage width narrows fairly abruptly behind the cockpit, there is an open gap on each side at the back which should assist ventilation without causing draught in the cockpit. The engine of the S.F.A.N. 5 is a Train of 60 h.p., mounted above the wing and driving a pusher airscrew.

According to
Aviation populaire ou aviation prolétaire by Vital Ferry, "The Farman Moustique, Léopoldoff Colibri and SFAN motorglider were produced in small numbers." It is not clear from the reference, however, whether we are talking about the earlier single-seat models or the two-seater presented here.
But according to the neat French glider database
www.j2mcl-planeurs.net, which I just realized also includes motorgliders, the SFAN 5 was a one-off enclosed variant of the earlier SFAN 4, itself only built in a production run of--get ready for it--two machines, so I think we could safely move this topic to the "Early Aircraft Projects" sub-forum among other prototypes that never made it to production.
